Corrections policy

Better evidence changes the record.

Addresses, opening status, ratings and source records can change. Kinda Decent reviews specific corrections against the strongest available evidence and updates the ranking when a corrected input affects the score.

What to include

  • The venue name, city and the exact field or passage that is wrong.
  • The corrected information and a direct, public source link.
  • The date the source was checked and any context needed to match it to the correct venue.

How we review a correction

  1. 1

    Match the claim

We identify the exact venue and distinguish venue-level evidence from hotel, mall or group-wide records.

  2. 2

    Check the source

Official venue information and venue-specific platform records take priority. Conflicting evidence is retained for review rather than silently combined.

  3. 3

    Update the result

A factual correction is applied to the venue record. If it changes a scored input, the published formula recalculates the ranking and stars are reviewed under the edition rules.

  4. 4

    Keep the distinction clear

A disagreement with a review or ranking is considered, but it is not treated as a factual error unless the underlying evidence or calculation is wrong.

Submission channel during preview

Kinda Decent is still in public preview. A public corrections address will be added here before general publication. Until then, people invited to review the preview should use the direct channel through which access was shared.
