Kinda Decent Bars is an independent ranking and venue guide founded and published by Abhishek Cherian George. It combines guest ratings, international and regional awards, peer recognition, press and social evidence in one published scoring model.

Rankings can move as venue records, social evidence and corrections are added. The full World’s 50 Best Bars 2026 results are now incorporated, but every 2026 Kinda Decent star remains provisional until the accepted inputs are locked in a reviewed final snapshot.

What the ranking measures

Social Vibes contributes 15% of the overall score. When guest and staff reads both exist, guest conversation makes up 70% of that pillar and workplace treatment 30%. Those shares stay fixed: when one read is missing, its share contributes zero. The other inputs and their weights are published on the methodology page.

The Grok-assisted research, collection and reconciliation workflow is proprietary. The public methodology still identifies the inputs, weights, missing-evidence rules and scoring adjustments readers need to interpret the results.
